Mutton Biryani Recipe


Mutton Biryani is an Indian Dish followed from Mughal Tradition. The spicy masala and the taste that gets out of Mutton Biryani cannot beat any other Dish. Here is recipe to cook Mutton Biryani for Two People

Ingredients for Mutton

  • Half KG Mutton
  • 2 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  • 4 table spoon Oil
  • 4 Onions Chopped
  • 4 Tomatoes Chopped
  • 4 Green Chilies
  • Handful of Coriander Leaves
  • Handful of Mint Leaves
  • Curd 1/4 Liter
  • 1 table spoon Chili Powder
  • Pinch of Turmeric Powder
  • Pinch of Saffron
  • 4-5 Cloves
  • 4-5 Dalcheeni
  • Water 1/4 Liter 

Ingredients for Cooking Rice

  • Half KG Rice
  • Water 3/4 Liter
  • Salt 3/4 Table Spoon

Instruction for Cooking Mutton

  1. Take Cooking Vessel, Heat Oil wait for 1 minute
  2. Add finely chopped Onions, Cook Until Onion Turns Golden Brown Keep Stirring
  3. Add Cloves and Dalcheeni Stir Well
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, Tomatoes, Green Chilies, Coriander Leaves and Mint Leaves
  5. Add Mutton by reducing it to Low Flame, Add Salt, 1/4 Liter Water, Turmeric Powder, Mix well
  6. After 5 minutes of Cooking Add Curd and Close the Lid for Cooking. Cook until 30 minutes
  7. Keep Mixing every Five Minutes so that Masala is Mixed well in to Mutton

Instruction for Cooking Rice

  1. Take Another Cooking Vessel, Clean Rice using Water, Add 3/4 Liter water, Rice and 3/4 Table Spoon of water
  2. Cook Rice for 15 minutes switch off, When Rice is 3/4 Cooked Switch off the Stove
  3. Take out the remaining water out of Rice and by this time Mutton Should be Cooked well
  4. Add 3/4 Cooked Rice in to Mutton Vessel Gently and Close the Lid. Cook it for 5 minutes
  5. Mutton Biryani is ready for serving !!!
