Creme Caramel Recipe Flan Custard

 

Crème Caramel is an egg recipe mixed with sugar syrup. It can be prepared as snacks for kids or taken as dessert for complete family. Below is the crème caramel recipe for 4 servings


Ingredients to prepare Sugar Syrup / Caramel

  • 2 cups sugar
  • 2 cups water
  • four ramekin glass bowls


Instruction

  1. Take pan mix sugar and water until it gets dissolved. Heat the mixture until the syrup / Caramel turns golden yellow
  2. Add the mixture in to four ramekin glass bowls and let it cool to normal temperature


Ingredients to prepare flan custard

  • 4 eggs
  • 2 table spoon vanilla extracts
  • 2 cups of milk
  • sugar half cup
  • boiling hot water 4 cups

Instruction

  1. Whisk / Blend the mixture of eggs, vanilla extract and sugar for 2 minutes
  2. Add milk and again blend it for another 2 minutes
  3. Filter out the blended mixture in to another jar, add the mixture in to four ramekin glass bowls
  4. The caramel should be at bottom and the egg mixture should be on top of the ramekin glass bowls
  5. Get the bigger tray and add boiling hot water inside the tray
  6. Pick up four ramekin bowls and carefully keep the bowls in to the tray be carefully here your hand does not get in to hot water
  7. Pre heat the oven to 300F and Bake them for 40 minutes
  8. Cool the Crème Caramel at room temperature. After the Crème Caramel is thick, take plate and revert the bowl and gently tap the flan to get into plate
  9. Creme Caramel can be cooled before serving.
