Chicken Biryani Recipe


Chicken Biryani is boon for those who like Chicken than Mutton. Chicken Biryani tastes well when cooked with awesome masala and tender Chicken. Below is the recipe to cook Chicken Biryani for two members

Ingredients for Marinating

  • 1/2 KG Chicken Boneless
  • 1/2 Cup Curd
  • Turmeric 1/2 table spoon
  • Half Table Spoon Salt
  • 1  table spoon lemon juice

Instruction for marinating

  1. Clean  the chicken in to running water drain the excess water and cut into small eatable pieces
  2. Add chicken into marinating bowl, add curd, turmeric, ginger garlic paste, salt and lemon juice mix well
  3. Mix the above and leave it for 1-2 hours

Ingredients for Cooking

  • 4 table spoon ghee
  • 3 chopped onions
  • 1 table spoon ginger garlic paste
  • 2 chilies
  • handful of coriander leaves
  • handful of mint leaves
  • 3/4 liter water
  • 3./4  table spoon Chili Powder
  • 1/2 KG Rice (Preferred Bullet Rice)

Instruction for cooking

  1. Take rice clean it using water and leave it for soaking in water for 30 minutes
  2. Take cooking bowl add ghee and heat in to medium flame
  3. Add Onion fry into ghee until onion turns golden brown
  4. Add ginger garlic paste, chilies, coriander leaves, mint leaves and chili powder, sauté every 30 seconds
  5. After 2 minutes of cooking add marinated chicken and cook for 5 minutes
  6. Add water and salt to the mixture and cook for another 30 minutes, stir ever 10 minutes until chicken cooks well
  7. Now add rice on top of cooked chicken and leave it for cooking for another 20 minutes.
  8. Chicken Biryani is ready to Serve !!!
