Cauliflower Pakoras Recipe

Cauliflower Pakoras are traditional Indian Village side dishes prepared with Gram flour and Cauliflower. This snack is most loved by kids after Onion Pakoras. Below is the recipe to make Cauliflower Pakoras


  •     Half cup Gram flour / Besan
  •     One Tablespoon Salt
  •     One Cup Cauliflower Pieces
  •     One Onion Chopped into Pieces
  •     Coriander Leaves 5-6 branches, chopped
  •     Tablespoon Ginger Garlic Paste
  •     2 Green Chilies, cut into small pieces
  •     Half Tablespoon Chili Powder
  •     Water 3 cups
  •     Cooking Oil Half Liter

  1. Heat water in to pan add one tablespoon salt, boil Cauliflower in to it for 2-3 minutes
  2. Allow Cauliflower to cool to room temperature by removing the water.
  3. Take another bowl add Gram flour, Half tablespoon Salt, Ginger Garlic Paste, Chili Powder, Onion and Mix well
  4. Sprinkle of water using fingers to above mixture and add Green Chilies, Coriander leaves, Cauliflower and Mix well until smooth batter is ready

Deep Frying

  1. Heat Oil into Pan
  2. Take small piece of eatable size of above batter add to the Hot Oil Gently
  3. Deep fry the Pakoras until Golden Brown, Remove the hot pakoras and serve Hot !!
